Re: Jericho Terrace MENU HELP???
I am trying to pick things from the menu that are not duplicates and will not really be served for dinner since the cocktail hour is sooooo extensive. And also apps that we know our guests would eat - for example, they have pulpo on there and we don't think a large amount of people would eat this.In addition to all the hot hors d'oeurves, antipasto, focaccia breads, wine and cheese, cold stations, and all the other stuff, this is what I think I am picking in the places where we have to make a choice:
Pasta: Penne Vodka and Tortellini
Hot Dishes: beef pizziala, bracciola, stuffed peppers, sausage and peppers, chicken scarpiello, chicken calabrese, zuppe de pesce, fried calamari, eggplant rollatini, and risotto milanese.
I would ask JT because I don't think that any of these apps are passed. They are all at stations I believe.
JT told me the other day that they are having a show in Feb. where they will have all of their food there so we are going to revise based on the food we taste that night.
A potato crouquette is basically mashed potatoes that's wrapped in a thin breading - very yummy.

its better off this way bc this way people dont have to stand around waiting to get a certain hors dourve. ITs all out there on display for them to get. Instead of chasing a waiter down, or having to stand there waiting around to see what you can eat. This way people go in, they see EVERYTHING available to them and get what they want and then sit and eat. And if its passed then not everybody will be able to try everything. If its passed they can only bring a few out at a time, and trust me it happens bc ive gone to parties where i wanted something that was passed but never had a chance to get it

I LOVVVVVVE Potato Croquettes!!! It's an italian food. FH's mom makes them all the time. Think of it like a mozzerella stick, but with mashed potatoes inside. Sometimes she makes them with shredded chicken, too :)I have no idea which items I am picking off the menu! There's too much to choose from!!!

Re: Jericho Terrace MENU HELP???
They told me that they won't really do a full tasting with me. But it is just the showcase in Feb that will have all the food - not the one in Nov. Don't go in Nov expecting to try food. We went to the last showcase and there wasn't too much as far as food.

Oh wow that stinks! With all the money we are paying, we should be able to taste the food lol.... Thanks for letting me know, so I'll go to the one in Feb.

I know! I totally agree!! Robert (my BM) said we could come in and try some stuff but it really would be a small informal type of thing where maybe we'd get to try a few of the apps. I just said I would wait til Feb. so I could see everything. Something to look forward to!
