Were having our reception in the oak room but now Im worried it may be too small. I think were going to have 125 people and I dont want them to feel crammed in there. What do you girls think?? is 125 too much for that room?

I personally think 125 will be just fine. I had 100 guests and there was definitely room for 25 more! The max in that room is 140 I was told, although I probably wouldn't want to squeeze in that many. You will be just fine Here is a pic of the tables to show you what a table of 9-10 would look like. You could fit at least one more chair and one or two more tables in that room. I hope that helps a little
Not to worry. I have been stressing over this to. I have about 130 on my guest list and I am in the oak room as well. I think the max tables you can have in there is 13 without it being crammed and like the pics shown - you can fit 10 to a table comfortably. So I would so no more than 130.

I was originally going to have mine in the oak room but decided to upgrade to the penthouse because it felt too crammed for me...we were hoping to invite 150...now we're inviting 200 but expecting maybe 180

Yeh then 150 would be to much for that room. I had 150 too but couldnt get another room - nothing available and then I thought - why not cut cost down and only invite peopl I see more than 1 every 6 months.
