Help me decide ladies!!! I want to book one of these places this weekend. Anyone have past experiences to tell me about? Anyone who has attended a wedding at either place or had their wedding there...I need to know how the food is...Such an important thing!! Thankss....

well, i picked JT bc the location is so picturesque and the staff was very friendly and the price was right. the food is good and plentiful. i went to a couple showcases and sampled. my friend got married there last year and had a excellent experience. HTH

i dont know anything about JT except that its really nice looking and i heard many great things. Im getting married at FT and really love the place. my friend got married there last year and the food was great and there was so much plus my jaw dropped when they did the V hour and they have reasonable prices

im not sure. we actually had tp postpone our date from April 08 to April 09. the first date he came back with was good for us. late April fills up fast though.
I went to a wedding at Floral Terrace and it was just amazing.

Sorry to crash your board but I couldn't resist!
I had my wedding last summer at Floral Terrace and I absolutely love this place! I cannot recommend it enough!!! The food was sooooo good & everything was amazing & they treated us so well!!!! I cannot imagine having had my reception anywhere else. We loved how everything was on separate floors, one event at a time, the bridal suite is huge, the ballroom is gorgeous (as I'm sure you know). I am getting married at Floral Terrace . . . b/c beside everything I have heard about it - they are ONE bride at a time too. That was something really important to me. I did a food tasting there (you can look at my albums) and the food really was fantastic! You can arrange for a food tasting before you make the final decision at FT - everyone there is soooo nice! They made sure to hide us away when we did our food tasting so that the wedding that was there at the time didn't know we were also there.

I honestly dont think you will make a mistake either way. They are both amazing places. We chose Floral Terrace because of everything we are getting. My sister was married and the Sand Castle (because of her husband's actions she is now divorced) but people are still raving about the wedding 6 years later and how amazing the food was. The second we walked into Floral Terrace i knew it was exactly what we wanted: manhattan on long island. Plus it only has one wedding at a time.

I've been to great weddings at both places so I think you'll be making a good choice with either. If I were choosing one for my wedding I would pick Floral Terrace. My choice is pretty much based on the fact that they have only one wedding at a time. I like the idea of being the only bride for the day.

The first time i attended a wedding at FT was FH's cousin's wedding. Lemme tell you I was shocked at how good the food was. Fh's grandfather is a retired gourmet chef and he thinks all RH's food are sh*t. He was raving about the food at FT. Also it is 1 wedding at a time. The bridal suite is the entire top floor of the RH. It's like an apartment. They give soooo much food and extras. They also give a free honeymoon to Greece. There's so much more that I'm too lazy to write about but feel free to FM me!

i picked JT... i fell in love from the moment my bm showed me the room.... its so beautiful... not to mention the outside and inside are designed for pictures which was a great factor in deciding.

Ive been to both and honestly you cannot go wrong with either choice. Floral Terrace I believe only has one wedding at a time while Jericho Terrace has a few going on. I dunno if that is important to you or not, but it could help in your decision making.
I visited JT back in October or November and there prices were pretty good. I didnt bother going to FT because one of my friends booked FT for the same day as my wedding.
