Jericho Terrace OR Fox Hollow

Hello everyone. Please help me decide on which one to go with. I need to make my decision by the end of today.

I really fell in love with the inside of Jericho Terrace, but I loved the fact that you can get married outside of Fox Hollow. I don't know what to do and I'm torn! For Jericho Terrace it would be $85 per person on a Friday night but I'd have to have a 140 people guarantee. At Fox Hollow, it would be $82 per person and only a 125 guarantee.

If you have had your wedding at these places PLEASE tell me your experiences and if it would be worth it to pay more money and go with Jericho Terrace. Thank you ladies!!!

I am bias because I am a Jericho Terrace Bride and I never saw Fox Hollow in person, but from the website I think it is completely gorgeous. However, the second I saw JT in person, I fell in love..and it's the only decision I've made that I haven't second guessed lolz. I'd call your BM and see if they can do any better for you with the minimum. Let them know that your torn between the two places and let them know what Fox Hollow is offering..it never huts to try!!

What room were you interested in at JT?

Also, Westbury Gardens isn't too far from JT and they do outside ceremonies, an option could be to have your ceremony there and then your reception at JT..just a suggestion

Hard decision.
I looked at both, JT was the runner up for us.
We got a great deal, lots trown in and all but, when we thought about it..we are getting married in the summer but, no outside and we wanted one wedding at a time.
I love FH, great food and all but, the room they had for us I didnt like and wanted the winter garden room but, it would have been to small for us and was more in price for as well.
We didnt go with either one but, let me ask you what is your budget and how did each place make you feel?

We were looking at the skylight room. Yes, I fell in love right away as well! :) We are going to go tomorrow and tell that we are torn between them and Fox Hollow- hopefully they can lower the minimum because 140 is too many people! Hopefully it works...keep your fingers crossed :)

I am bias I am a JT B2B! But I have been to weddings at the Fox Hollow and it was wonderful! If your getting married in the warmer weather a place with an outdoors is a plus gl! Keep us posted

I've been to both and my vote would be for Jericho Terrace! It depends on your taste and budget but I just found JT to be very elegant and the food and service were GREAT both times that I went there.

I'm having my ceremony in the skylight room ...it is soooo beautiful... I went to an anniversary party at fox hollow and i though (though the food was good there)...the food at JT was much better... which was the most important thing to my FH!!!!

Def. go there and haggle!!! Robert was my BM and he was amazingly sweet and really worked with us..if you aren't already working with him, ask for him! He's GREAT!!! To save money, we are getting married on a Thursday which def. gave him more room to work with us..but I still say go in there and haggle..it's worth a shot!

we looked at both of those places ... and to be honest we really liked the fox hollow because it had the beautiful outdoor area ... also, the JT have a lot of events going on at once where as the fox hollow only has two ... i think. ooo yea anddd the fox hollow was going to throw in a free night in their hotel (for our wedding night) which i thought would be great. so i would go with fox hollow but thats just me even tho JT is sooo pretty.

I am bias...LOL I have been to the fox hollow and loved it every time without fail. I am having my reception in the garden terrace. I have been to the JT and like the food. A lot of people I know have been there and have gotten married there and had no complaints. We thought about it but here were my quams with it - when my cousin was making his best man speach for his bros wedding, the floor was vibrating and we heard the music and emcee rocking the mic from the downstairs... It would have been something I would def complain about so that place was a no go for us. I also went to a showcase there and we were in the dome room - to my surprise, it was leaking and there was a huge puddle in the middle of the dance floor. Then again, this was my experience....many people get married there and love it....it is a gorg place, but fh is my vote.

I went to a wedding at Jericho Terrace last night...the place was really nice, the food was pretty good, but my FH and I weren't thrilled over the service (we got lukewarm food, cold coffee, and the waitress spilled lettuce on my chair & never cleaned it up! I got back from the bathroom and was like...huh??) Also the valet parking situation there was an absolute nightmare. It was every man fo him self at the end of the night, no organization so there were guests from 3 different weddings scrambling to get their car..Also the whole night it was obvious that there were 2 other weddings going on in the space (one right next to the one we were at! The best man was giving a toast and we heard the music & screaming from next door loud and clear. Overall it was a great wedding, although I would highly recommend discussing circumstances like those with your banquet manager ahead of time.

My best friend/MOH had her wedding at Fox Hollow and it was awesome. The bridal suite there is really nice and the service was excellent.
The downstairs area was a huge help for pictures, since it rained on her wedding day. Very organized over there. Plus the hotelis next door, so if you block rooms for people, the party just moves right next door by the end of the night. We did that and had a blast! Plus the whole bridal party had breakfast the next day!

We booked JT and they are great!! JT has the same number of events going on as fox hollow. At JT there will be my wedding plus one other wedding that does not begin until we are already in the reception room. The weddings I have been to at fox hollow also had 2 weddings going on.

Def go for Jericho (Although I have never seen Fox Hollow). Everyone I speak to said the service and food at JT are in a league of their own.

If they are giving you that price for Skylight then that's great! Does that include tax and service charge?

I'm paying 120 including all fees (Vienese and deluxe menu 6 hour reception) for the small dinky room downstairs (Oak room). LOL. The room is gorgeous, but I have way too many guests. oh wells. They said it fits 148, but there is no way!! Unfortunately, I made a decision off of excitement instead of really looking at the room closely. If you think you'll have around 120 guests than you shoud def look into the Oak room as well and see if they will give you better pricing (The guarantee is 120).

Obviously, the Skylight is nicer room, but if you don't want to stress about the guarantee then Oak is a great option.

I say fox hollow JT just had way to much going on for me when i looked into it, i am a night wedding and the most that will be going on is one other wedding and the rooms are so far apart you can't hear the other people
