I can't decide where to have my July 2012 wedding! I love the room at JT but I love the beautiful outdoor area at the SC~! Which hall would you choose?

I have not been to either, but if you ask me I don't like the location of JT, I feel like they are both very different options.

they're both very different places. I went to see both, and JT is more opulant while Swan club is more simple but elegant, it depends on the feel you're looking for.

They are soooo different it is hard to say. It all depends on how you envision your wedding. I loved the Swan Club though. I thought it was very nice and the price was really good too.

I have never been to the Swan Club but Jericho Terrace is GORGEOUS!!!! I saw it after we already booked our RH.
ETA: Fh has been to both & he said Swan Club bc of the scenery.

I did not go to JT, I went to three other ones, we booked SC because we go to alot of events there, and it is great!!! Its so pretty.....

when i went to the swan club..i stayed for lunch to test out the food...why dont u test the food at both places to decide...before booking jt they let me do a food tasting

I'm booked at JT!! and couldn't be any happier. I've heard very good things about them. Now if your looking for beautiful grounds then i would say go for the swan club. But if you looking for a modern look, then I would say do JT.
I was torn btwn the Westbury Manor and JT. But I only liked the WM b/c of the beautiful grounds the inside and rooms I wasn't to fond of. My thing was like, what if it rains? god forbid the day of my wedding. I won't be able to use those grounds and I will be highly upset. JT I didn't have to worry about that. Plus I fell in love with my room there so I booked there.

I been to both and i say the swan club especially that you're getting married in the summer, take advantage of the grounds. If you were getting married in the winter then i would say to stick to JT. BTW: i choose the swan club for the same reason.
PS The sawn club is having a bridal showcase on April 4. I think you should attend that way you get a better idea and also get the opportunity of tasting the food.

We looked at both places!
We are getting married mid-march and the weather is hit or miss. So... we did not go with Swan Club. But it's soooo beautiful there. I loved the attention that Jericho Terrace gave us and the type of service but the way that Swan Club worked with us was really great too. So, for me personally if I was getting married in July I would def say go with Swan Club!!! Especially if your big on outdoor photos! Jericho Terrace is gorgeous for indoor photos and nice for outdoor.
If you want send me FM, and I'll give you a side by side comparison of everything that I was offered and details of menu, room, and everything else. For the size of our wedding and the time of year we are getting married, Jericho Terrace offered us Sooo much more.

We also went to both and well they are sooooo different from one another. It also depends on the size of your wedding party. We have a small guest list so SC offered the Contessa Room. I can't recall the name of the room for JT, it's a room that's currently being renovated, on the first floor. JT was gorgeous inside but not much for outdoors. SC was absolutely beautiful outside but we were concerned if God forbid it rained on our wedding day and we didn't like the decor in the Contessa room. They did give us an awesome price for our originally planned wedding in May. In the end we chose Westbury Manor because it seem to be more in the middle, gorgeous grounds but also very nice rooms. It totally depends on what's most important to you and also, follow your heart! We just felt at home @ WM.

Never been to JT but I have heard great things... however I just had my holiday party at The Swan Club and the view is gorgeous and the food there is AMAZINGGG !!!

Awe! I loved WM... Congrats to you! We didn't book there bc the amount of ppl in the Garden room wouldn't been too tight if we had a lot of RSVP's... We were scared of the space and the Manor room would have looked like it swallowed our wedding. LOL.

i love swan club b/c of the outside! and the rooms are good too...my favorite room was the one with the windows all around, white with gold (main floor)

Depends on what your priorities are.
If you want outdoor scenery and simpler decor, then Swan Club is good. I think JEricho Terrace is better for food and as someone said perfectly, the decor is more opulent. Downside is there's no outside to take advantage of.
When FH and I werre searching, we decided that food for us and his Italian family were more important than a more organic location and crazy gardens, but your priority might be different. We felt that if we booked someplace primarily because of what it had to offer outside and the weather didn't cooperate, we'd lost the whole reason we booked someplace and then be disappointed... but we tend not to be risk takers, lol.

I would Vote Swan Club if your date is in summer so you can take advantage of the grounds and I have heard great things about the food.
However, I've heard the ballrooms are on the smaller side, how many guests are you having?

Im getting married at Swan Club and the grounds are unbelievable, unfortunately I wont be able to have all the beautiful flowers in my pictures bc im getting married in March but since you are July I would highly recommend getting married at Swan Club if you are looking to take pictures on premise and have fabulous pictures. The rooms are all beautiful and the price is so reasonable.
