I am trying to book a DJ and I really like the photo montage idea. I am in the Dome room at Jericho Terrace and I know that they have those plasmas in the wall now. Does anyone know if the DJs can use those to show the photo montage DVD? I thought maybe I can save money that way so that I don't have to pay the DJ for the plasmas. When I spoke to the DJs I met with, none of them really knew the answer. Does any one have any idea? Thanks so much!

I asked about this a few months back and if I remember correctly ONLY JT recommended DJ's can use them like Starlight Express and a few others (I think Body Rock). They also told me that if I created my own montage, I can give it to the BM at JT and they can play it but I don't think I am going to do that. That would be really hard to do and get in sync with music that the DJ is playing.

Yea, I thought I remember them saying something like that too. I don't understand the difference though between you making your own DVD or the DJs making one. It just doesn't make sense to me, other than that they really want you to use their recommended DJs.

I know - I feel like it does somewhat put a little pressure on you to use their vendors for this. We did look elsewhere for a DJ and happened to end up with Starlight Express bc we thought they could do the best job. It also helped that we are using Francesca for DOC so she knows all these people and is there for us so if things go wrong, she'll know how to handle it.
It costs $ to have the DJ make the montage so I guess your other option is to have the JT plasmas covered (there is a wall covering thing that put up) and bring in a different DJ and use their plasmas that they can bring.

I was just curious where the plasma screens are in the dome room? I am not planning on doing a photo montage or the screens. How is it covered up? TIA!

I know the new penthouse room has plasmas built into the walls and they are hidden by the wall if you dont want to use them, but i dont think the dome room has them in the wall. They are free standing screens. Although Im not 100% positive on this.

No, they are in the wall in the Dome room. I am almost positive. They have like a piece of the wall that covers them if you don't use them. You can't even tell.
