Jericho Terrace Showcase.. Update

OMG i couldnt believe how packed it was...I went in november to their showcase and it was NOTHING like that...There was NO line at all for food, infact when we were in the CH room we were only one of 5 tables actually sitting down eating...There werent even half the people that were there last night...We parked about 3 blocks away, which was the first sign how crowded it was...We wanted to see starlight express so when we went upstairs to see them we couldnt even walk into the room we had to stand by the door...Finally a few people left and we walked in and stood a little past the door hahaha but still crowded.

I met snowcutie82 and ginaz, talked to them for a bit...Then belongs2danbuckley came over to say hello...It was real nice meeting you girls.

We got there a little after six thinking we were gonna be early....it was so packed...didnt even stick around to see if i won the limo raffle....

I only saw Denises(espos) Husband....did anyone see me that i didnt recongnize?

I think I saw Espo and belongstodanbuckley? I was in the dome room watching the dj and band most of the night. Is it usually that crowded?

i got there early so i was able to try the food. It was excellent. I didn't get to go upstairs it was too packed by the doorway to get in. I really like the Flowers by Michelle. my FH and his bestman was loving the open bar. Was not expecting that. When we went to Villa Lombardi's it was $10 to get in and a cash bar.

Yeah the first thing FH did was go to the bar, and of course EVERYWHERE we go fh has to know somebody and he actually used to play softball with the bartender...I have tried their food a couple times and so has FH so thats why we were like forget it...Glad you liked the food though.

OMG talk about packed!! I got there late about 7:30 becuase of work. But actually I was able to squeeze into a spot in there parking lot.

It was so packed that I just kinda walked around and picked up brochures from vendors. The only vendor I spoke with was pedastals. It sounds good. I have been told that the tall centerpieces are very expensive but they said you can pick out any vase you want and it does not cost extra (even the tall ones). I dont know anything about flowers so maybe I am misunderstanding someone along the way.

I never got a chance to try the food because the line was ridicously long. I dont feel like I really got a chance to see the place becuase of the crowd.

Yeah pedestals was one of the vendors we talked to the most, we booked an appointment with them, i know i want to go with them though...Yeah talk to them about what you want they can mix things around and work with you...I was talking to the girl about the cala lilly cp i had seen last time at the bridal show and that it was a bit different and what i was looking for, and she showed me what vase i can use to get the look i want.

I didnt eat last night either but ive had their food a couple of times. Yeah it was hard to really get a feel for what the place looks like if that was your first time there, it was too packed...Like i said before when i went in november there werent even half the people that were there last night, guess the holiday engagements made a BIG difference, and even previously engaged people are all starting to book now and get things done

Your right, the holiday engagements must make it a crazy time of year for bridal showcases.

How is the food? Do you know what they were serving? Was it like cocktail food or entrees?

I like their food, well we wouldnt have booked if we didnt lol...Its all CH food

I thought this was a great event, but got too crowded. We got there right at 6 so we got parking and got food (which was good). Loved the top shelf open bar!! Didn't love that they didn't do a coat check- my coat was big. :) I had never been to Jericho Terrace before- it was very pretty!! I enjoyed the band that went on- they sounded great!!! Also, we enjoyed starlight express which is a very good thing since we booked with them.

OMG i know, i had a huge long coat that was sooo heavy, plus my bag weighs a ton with all the things i carry lol, my arms were killing me

I know we ate before, b/c I knew FH didn't want just cold antipasto that was there last time. Thank goodness we did the line for the food was ridiculous.
