JERICHO TERRACE TASTING

JERICHO TERRACE TASTING

I just wanted to post on here that my FH and I went to our tasting this past Saturday at Jericho Terrace and it was amazing. Both our parents joined us and they set things up like a classy, complete 4-course meal. They did it up right with the works, including the extra effort of vegetable carvings (rose, swan, etc.) to offer us a beautiful presentation. The waiter was extremely attentive and the experience just proves that we made the absolute right choice in booking JT for our wedding (we had already booked so they didn't need to 'sell' us, but they still worked hard to give us a niec lunch). The wine was great. They put out two bottles (one red, one white) and when my FH asked for just one more glass, they brought an entire bottle without a fuss (even though he only asked for a glass). Michael C. was our host (he's been our main contact) and was terrific. If any of you are still looking for a hall, I'd use this experience to support JT all the way. I'm sure there are other great halls (I don't want to offend anyone!), but you can't go wrong with JT. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. I can't wait for our big day there!

Thnaks for the info! That sounds really great! I'm definitely going to look at JT, but I probably can't afford it.

HOw did you set up your tasting? I'm getting married there in July of 2005

Just call your host (the one you met with to sign your contract) and ask him. We negotiated this during our pre-signing, but I'm sure even if you didn't they'd do this for you.

Re: JERICHO TERRACE TASTING

We didn't tell them what to serve us, but it was great. They started with two antipasto plates -- fresh mozz with tomato and basil garnished with olives. They also served a fruit and vegatable plate. Then they passed a plate with baked clams, fried cauliflower and artichoke hearts, rice balls and stuffed mushrooms. Then they gave a us some penne as the pasta course and then this amazine chicken dish. Dessert was creme bruelee with coffee. They offered after dinner drinks, but we declined since they openly provided 3 bottles of wine for the 6 of us (both our parents joined us). As you can see, they really did it right. The service was EXCELLENT. Michael C., our host, checked in every now and then to make sure everything was OK, and our waiter was very attentive. It was as good as any top star restaurant as far as service goes and the food was up there as well. Very nice time for us and our parents. We had a blast and it just reassured us that we're going to have a GREAT wedding at JT.
