jericho terrace vs manor east

jericho terrace vs manor east

Im having a hard time deciding btwn jericho terrace and manor east. I know they are complete opposites. When I saw JT i fell in love. But there I would only be able to afford the bare minimum. Manor East is nice, but for the price I get everything I could ever think of. It comes with 6 and 1/2 hours and a full viennese table, ice cream bar, even a seafood boat and dozen rose centerpieces are included also. all that is still cheaper than JT so I can get the band that I want plus any other extras.

So my question is gorgeous and the bare minimum or nice and everything you can ever think of?

hi! i have seen both places - i do believe jericho terrace is hands down the top choice (if you're looking ONLY at those two places). however - i understand where you are coming from. i also considered jericho terrace, but really felt that it was too much. however, im not crazy for manor east either (my opinion.)

i think that you should check into a few other options perhaps?? maybe post what you're looking for in a place and girls can try to point you in the direction of some other places that may allow you to have a balance of quality and quantity...??? if you're definitely between those 2 places, maybe see if you can alter your date and time a bit to get a better deal at JT?

That's a tough call....I consider JT the more beautiful and classy of the two, but you do get tons for your money at ME. I've just never been fond of the decor and the lack of grounds. But do a search for Manor East on the board and you might find some nice comments from people who've been there!

Why don't you check out Chateau La Mer? You get sooooo much for your money there, I think!!! And it's a beautiful and classy place. Right on the water, and you get a boat ride into the cocktail hour!

I had my reception at the Manor East and it was beautiful. We looked at JT too and loved it but we could not affored it but I do not regret having it at the Manor East. Anthony from the ME told us that if we wanted good food and service then the ME was for us and he was right. If you have any questions about the ME, just ask.

I was in the same boat...I had to choose between one which was more expensive but the one I really wanted vs. another place which was ok but much much cheaper and threw in a bunch of free stuff. It was a hard choice, and we spent over a week constantly thinking about. We broke out the excel spreadsheet and did the finances to see how much everything was. In the end we went with what we really wanted. It really came down to picking the place I could totally see ourselves getting married. We figured the money will come and go, we'll make due. Hopefully the struggle will be worth it.

i agree that you might want to consider a few more choices so you feel like you've really looked around. for me the quality of the food would be a big deciding factor - just because you get everything included doesn't mean it's always good. i've only been to manor east once a long time ago and i remember it being fine, but i've been to places more recently that had everything under the sun and it wasn't very good. just a thought. also who you feel most comfortable working with.

Definatley Jericho terrace I am not a fan of Manor East. See if you can get a sunday night in the winter and you can have a nice menu for a lot less
That goes for anywhere you go .

If you're trying to keep costs at a minimum, why not have a daytime wedding at a place like the Swan Club? they have reasonable prices and I really havent heard anything but good things about them. Also they have great grounds to take advantage of.

if you think you're done looking and these two are the top two choices...what i would do is make a list of priorities for your wedding and what exactly is your idea of a perfect wedding venue. see if any of these places provide you with what you want. you'll realize one is usually ahead of the other. worse comes to worse, go with your gut instinct.
