Jerkyass

Jerkyass

So, DH and I went to a Mets game on 9/16. When we were leaving, right near our car was a wallet. he picked it up, saying 'that scuks', and opened it- someone had taken the money, but th elicense and debit card and some other junk was still in there. So we brought the wallet home, and I mailed it back to the guy the next day or Monday whatever. So, before I mailed it, I found his business card in it, so I called and left him a VM explaining the situation, and that we were not the jerks that took the cash, if there was any. I told him it would be in the mail that same day.
The package had my return address on it.
Wouldn't you send maybe a thank you card?
What a deuche.

I totally would have sent a thank you and a gift.

But that's me.

My wallet went missing in the Bahamas (read as I was so drunk I dropped it in a cab).
Anyway, it was returned to me 2 days later w/ EVERYTHING in it. I offered the guy all the money I had in it. He wouldn't take it. Said it was his obligation to return it to me.

Wow- it's nice to see that people can be good. I guess not jerks from Jericho.
And nice business sense, bc he was a personal chef or owned a catering company or whatever- how does he know that I didn't keep his card? I would never use him now. Jerk.
Then again, maybe he never received it- maybe he had an old address on his license.

or maybe he sent a card and you never got it

or maybe he moved away after he lost his wallet for fear that someone would get his addy and try to kill him

or maybe he can't read or write

I bet you're the one who took the money out of his wallet.

eta- you probably left it by my car to frame me.

Definitely E- Lauren complains about human nature too much, and she should probably just become a hermit.

Re: Jerkyass

so what do you think.

my friend's shower is coming up, we are buying the video monitor and something else off the registry I forgot - but totally I need to make something... cause that is how I do.

Anyhoo. They have 2 Akita's. So I was thinking to get me some onesies and some cute fabric (ahem) and bite this idea.

using this silhouette (minus the text)

Maybe he is like me, and he writes all his thank yous, but then has no stamps or is too lazy to walk to the mailbox, so then they sit in a pile for a while or get put in a side drawer. Then it becomes an awkward length of time and he feels silly sending it after so long, so he throws it in the trash.

The end.
