He was the guy that Larry Flint, the publisher of Hustler Magazine, went up against. If you've ever seen The People Vs. Larry Flint (Woody Harrelson plays Larry Flint and Courtney Love plays his wife) you'll see him depicted in it (great movie by the way... definitley a must see).

He definitely had some off-the-wall opinin...

I was reading an article today about how all these people are incredibly upset and how they think he was an incredible human being and how the world has lost a great leader.

He was, in a sense, a hatemonger who used the church and God to justifying everything hateful and discriminatory thing he said.

But SO many people bought into it, which pissed me off!

My cousins went to Liberty University (the school he founded) and it's such a pain to talk to them and my aunt and uncle because their beliefs are so tied to his!

It's people like him that definitely gave being Christian a bad name.
