Where are the Jersey Brides getting married?

Re: Jersey Brides....

Thebrownstone.com. We are getting married outside and having the reception in that white room with sll the windowd you see if you let the slide show run.

Its in Paterson. AMAZING AMAZING food. Surrounding area is crappy but the hall is AMAZING and if you do it on a Friday night or Sunday Morning, its really reasonable. We are doing ours on a Sunday morning and it started at $65ph. With taxes and gratuities which are REALLY high, it jumped a bit but still totally doable and the food is PHENOMENAL! They do two tastings every year-huge events where its just a buffet of all of their stuff. You can drag along several people with you. I don’t think the next one is till after the summer, but you can call and ask. try to work with Charlie. He is just wonderful at making you feel at ease.

I do suggest going during the week because now they are swamped on the weekends with wedding high season.

I was going to respond earlier but, it slipped my mind too!

Florentine Gardens (had to look it up).

I really like the Rockleigh Country Club, The Manor and the Westmount County Club, we've been to weddings there recently. I've also been to the Colonial Inn for a wedding a number of years ago and it was nice.

LOOOOVE the Chateau! BUT!!!!!!! Be warned that its sooooo expensive they wont even list the prices in the book! We called and they politely told us after hearing our budget, we might want to try the Brownstone because we would get the outdoor ceremony and all but for less. So we did! BEAUTIFUL place, no grounds, but FANTASTIC Food.

My FH lives right behind THE MANOR actually-we pass it every day lol driving home. Its phenomenal and actually not as outrageous as you would expect if you dont want to get married on the grounds. it was the first place we looked actually, but we wanted an outdoor ceremony and for that we had to gurantee 125 people and we dont even have that many guests invited!

We went to a wedding at NANINA'S IN THE PARK and it was AMZING! THE FOOOOOOOOD! OH THE FOOD! LOL. Sooo good. NEVER seen a spread like that. I imagine it was expensive but she had it ona Friday so might have been cheaper. AMAZING place.

The Rockleigh Country Club is gorgeous -- we visited but it was out of our price range. Pleasantdale Chateau is also gorgeous! The Venetian is amazing and also The Tides -- that was our 3rd choice -- beautiful!

If we werent getting married at CLM, we wouldve been in NJ. There are so many beautiful places there.

Re: Jersey Brides....

I almost got married in NJ, but for several reasons that didn't work out. Here's some of the prices I got for September/October/November (I posted this a year ago, but I doubt they changed much). The halls are NJ and Westchester.

Indian Trail Club - $130-$150 (my friend got married here and it was great. Good food, gorgeous place)
Stoney Hill Inn - $150 - very nice, great food - only negative was that it's right off of Route 80, but you can barely tell from the Inn
The Olde Mill Inn - $170 - GORGEOUS. We actually wanted to have it there, but the price was more than we wanted to spend and it was a little further than we wanted family to have to drive
Twin Brooks CC - $80 - $130
The Brownstone - $113 - $145
Basking Ridge CC - $113 - $139
Colonia CC - $75 - $125
Lake Mohawk CC - $186
Old Orchard Manor - $38 - $130
Brooklake CC - $124
Sea Oaks CC - $92 - $136
Knoll CC - $85 - $140
Pennsauken CC - $72
Atrium Country Club - $80 - 150
Buena Vista Country Club - $55
Crystal Point Yacht Club - $90 - $108
The Newark Club - $85 - $155
Valley Regency - $202
Valleybrook Country Club - $68 - $85
Westmount Country Club - $85
Nanina's In the Park - $202
Crystal Springs Country Club - $186 - 214
Ramsey Golf & Country Club - $101 - 189
The Clubhouse at Patriot Hills - $120 - $132
The Mill at Spring Lake Heights - $129 - $150
Eagle Ridge Golf Club - $145 - $189

ETA - These prices include tax and tip.

This is a great list but if you check out any of these places, make sure to ask for Friday and Sunday prices as well, because we are getting married at the Brownstone this year for 'high season' and are paying waaaaaay under what is listed here. It depends alot on your menu and the date you are having it.

Re: Jersey Brides....

Hi all,

I'm new to these forums, but I noticed that quite a lot of members here recommend The Manor in NJ. Where exactly is The Manor, wondering if you can direct me where and if possible a website to the facility.

Thanks so much in advance.
