yes, it is very true. he definitely has an eye. which I occassionally would LOVE to poke out.
but 9 times out of 10, if he points it out to me, it's nice...just not always things I can wear with my fabulous curves, which is quite frustrating.
worse yet, when your husband says 'try this on' and you KNOW it's going to make you look anything BUT good, and you have to stand there with this frock on while he sees what you already knew....that you look like 10 lbs of sausage in 5 bls of skinny jeans.
but he does have really really really good fashion sense, whereas I sometimes like to hide inside my clothes (though I hope I am getting better).
so he doesn't necessarily always like what I am wearing or what I look like for that matter.

You know what, that one kinda looks nice. It's not as bad as that Chloe monstrosity. It doesn't scream, 'Get the fukk outta the way, gold bag coming thru', ya know?
As I said to J, and again this is coming from a guy's point of view, I'm not gonna spend a shttload of money on a bag that in 2 years is gonna be out of fashion. I'd rather spend a shttload on something more simple and elegant that will stand time.
Buy the knockoff gold lame one and save a few bucks...unless of course, you're Paris Hilton.
