Jess, how was your trip

it was fun.

We got in late Friday night and walked around a street that looked like 85 college frats/sororities threw up their contents on to them (Adams Morgan or something like that) but we did manage to find a cool Cuban place.

Saturday we visited Mount Vernon, and visited good ol' Georges house. it was very nice. the grounds were beautiful. the view, spectacular. and they had actual livestock there (a few horses, a mule, some hogs and their little hoglets)

went to a great tapas bar/restaurant in Old Alexandria. then went to a boistrous and authentic french bistro at night.

drove up into Maryland on Sunday and had brunch with my cousin and his family (which includes my beautiful Godson, and his darling little brother)

a fun time was had by all.
