Jessica and Nick are over

I dont care wether you hate them or love them

I cannot stand another marriage- celebrity or not- breaking up

It just depresses me sometimes- why do any of us get married at all anymore?

Can I really handle the commitment if people who are loaded with $ and assistants and maids cant do it?

I think the difference is that they are constantly in the spotlight and their relationships are under a microscope for everyone to examine!

I agree with the love or hate them part, this is very sad and must be incredibly hard on them. They just announced their breakup, right before the holidays, its hard on them. All the money/fame in the world can not fix that kind of hurt.

I hate when people say things like 'who cares' or 'I knew it' ' *insert couple name here* is next'

I mean seriously who are we to judge and I'd hope nobody ever wished that on me and Lenny. This is a rough time for them, I am sad that another marriage, especially one that seemed so happy, came to an end.

I agree that it is sad but I did not think they looked that happy. All the pics I saw of them, he looked like he was in another world and she looked pi$$ed. I do feel for them becasue this must be very hard for them. Hopefully, they can both find someone who is right for them and will make them truly happy.

Why were they denying the split so long is what is just stupid to me.

I could care less. Saw it coming.

While I hate to see any marriage end let's remember that they put their marriage under the microscope. I rarely heard anything about Nick and Jessica before their TV show. They made that decision for themselves and both (well, hers more then his) of their careers have benefited from it. Unfortunately, that boost cost them their marriage.

i am soo sad i love them!

i cannot believe i am saying that..but i watched newlyweds constantly and i just loved thm together

but it must be hard being in that spotlight all the time...no couple is perect

i'm so upset by it.... i loved them as a couple...

I was really speaking about Hollywood couples in general BUT you are totally right that they themselves put their marriage in the public eye. They did that show to help boost their floundering careers which it did but at what cost? It is really sad but that show probably is what did contributed to the demise of their marriage.
