Jessica files for divorce!

LOS ANGELES - There will be no romantic reunion -- Jessica Simpson filed for divorce Friday from Nick Lachey. The couple had jointly announced their separation Nov. 23 following months of rumors that their tabloid-friendly relationship had soured. Simpson cited irreconcilable differences in a divorce petition filed in Los Angeles Superior Court.

I'm kind of sad about them not being together anymore.

they were so cute together...I'm sorry they couldn't work things out.

yet another hollywood split...too bad for them.

I'm still in denial

It's so weird...they were saying on Z100 the other day (not that they're speaking gospel ) that it was getting 'messy'... It's so hard to think of those two getting into a messy, bitter divorce.

I can see it - especially since Jessica doesn't do a single thing for herself and allows her parents to do everything - clearly seen through watching Newlyweds...

Depending on who 'effed' up the marriage, I can see the Simpson side going nuts and being unreasonable.

Oh so very true! I still remember the 'maid' episodes... All Jessica wanted was a maid and Nick was constantly telling her she needed to learn how to pick up after herself...

lol i kind of feel that way. i mean i don't like hearing any split..but i'm not heart broken about it. they only reason why people cared was because they put out this facade with the perfect fairtytale wedding....her being a virgin the wedding nite...how they were the cute perfect newlyweds...blah blah blah. barf!!!

i mean they were a hollywood couple...she was spoiled brat and he was a former boy band member....who DIDN'T see this coming? i mean really?
