Jessica Mcclintock

Anyone have a gown by Jessica Mcclintock? I have been very impressed with her selection and the prices are perfect for my budget.
I was going to check out her boutique in Garden City when I visit the FI in LI (I'm from Maine). Anyone shop there?

I love her gowns, but I wasn't impressed by this shop, I feel they are very rude, and not helpful, also the selection there is limited.

I was just there last weekend looking for BM dresses...they didn't have a lot in the actual store but you can look throught the catalogs.

Honestly I wasn't that impressed, but you never know when you are going to find your prfect gown!

I felt the selection was smaller than it seemed on the site.
I got that right after it opeend. The sales lady was very nice, but hten left us alone, which is what I wanted
I don't know if they would be as attentive as a regular bridal shop if you needed them.

Its a good place to start though.

i am doing a mcclintock dress too. i tried them on in roosevelt and now i will order it through a private shop that does tailoring. i can't see speding so much on a dress and the one that i found is beautiful and for an august wedding, i need a lighter dress. good luck!

I live in Chicago and the boutique here is great. Since my Kleinfeld's incident I have been very reluctant to go to a standard bridal shop. The staff is helpful but not pushy. I liked the idea that I could try on dresses and be left alone, also the prices are incredible. The saleslady told me she would personally handle all the details with my dress and my BM's (who are scattered across the country). I haven't decided yet and will continue to look but I did fall in love with the Isabelle.

I love Jm and I've bought several dresses for othr people's wedding,s but they have very little seclection in JM, and they dont ahve sizes, just samples, so if you're not a size 6 you may not be able to try anything on. I LOVED the store at the Garden State Plaza mall, it was well worth the drive, and I was able to try on a lot of dresses in my size, and see how they were, plus they had so many more dresses, and much more in the bridal section (though not a ton)

I think they run a little small also so for any brides trying it on dont feel bad!! My bm tried on a size 2 in every bm maker you can think of.. they all had to be clipped b/c they were too loose.. the 2 couldnt even zipper up on her!
