I also heard you get better deals closer to the time you want to fly. FH and I have been looking at JB flights in July since the beginning of the year and they have not gone below 1K

I don't THINK it works that way on jetBlue (I could be wrong). I think the first x seats are one price, then they ump the price like $10, then te next y are that price, then they bum p it again. That's why you see 'only 2 seats left at this price' sometimes when you book a flight. We paid like $20 more for our honeymoon flight becuase we booked it in the afternoon instead of the morning. UGH. In our experience over the course of a few weeks (booking in Feb for a June honeymoon) the airfare prices have just continued to rise. I wish we had booked earlier but we were going back anf forth a lot on whether we could afford it

ETA: I just checked and in the 2 weeks since we booked, our flight cost has gone up another 80 bucks.
I don't know how it works on other airlines, but I think it goes up as you get closer on jetblue

The reason I say this is because in November they had a sale for December flights to CA - I was THIS close to going home for Christmas but I didn't want to leave FH.

well if you buy a flight on jetblue and than see it cheaper on there website they give you a credit to use within the year!!
