ESPN.com has reported that Paul hackett has resigned as offensive coordinator

woohoooo! yea!!!! thank god. now we will have a miracle of hope for next year now they have to get rid of brien & herman edwards the coach.

Hallelujah to Hackett leaving. About time.

But why do you want Herm's head too? He's brought the team to the playoffs 3 out of his 4 years... If you're going to judge a coach by his ability to get the team to the superbowl or even the AFC championship game every year, then almost every coach in the NFL should be fired.... I'm a big fan of Herm's (if you can't tell).

i like the guy too, but i'm not a fan of his coaching style

I agree I am not a fan of the way his coaching the team! he needs to get the team going and win he needs to toughen them up a little more they need to get their head in gear win win win. herman edwards is not doing that. we want a superbowl and win it we have not won in a couple of years. thats what my Dh tells meand i agree with him. Plus i dont need to hear him yell at the tv when they lose. thats all. I like him dont get me wrong but he need to work on his coaching skills.

Personally I love Herm. He respects the players and they respect him. He seems non-emotional during the game sometimes but if you watch Jets 24/7 on Sunday mornings you seem him during the week with the team at practice, watching film, giving motivational speeches, etc. I think he is a great coach. He is staying. There are no plans for him to leave.

Glad Hackett is gone. Like my Dad would say every week 'He just can't hack it!'

Now let's hope the defensive coordinator Donnie Henderson stays with us. He is getting looked at by college and NFL for head coaching positions.

I am still upset they lost. I would have loved another game this weekend.

They hired Mike Hummerdinger (nice name ) to replace him.

he is going to be a great cooridinater for the Jets! next year will be a great season.
