Can anyone recommend somewhere for me to go for the following issues?:

1) My ering has a center stone and then two side stones below that. The side stones aren't flush with the band. The wedding bands that I tried on didn't sit flush to it. I'm thinking about a custom band now and I'm not sure where to go.

2) My mom gave me my father's wedding band. It's plain white gold. I would like to melt it down and get it made into a diamond necklace/pendant to wear on my wedding day and daily from then on.

any ideas? We got my ering at The Karat Shop. They couldn't do either for us.

There is a place called the Commack Jewelry Exchange in Commack. I had a custom neckalce made there like 10 years ago. They have 100 booths in there and do nice work. OR, the place we got my ering (Diamond District) he is making my band custom.
