JEWELER FOR RING RESIZING??

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good jeweler that will resize FH's wedding ring? There are 3 caviats.....

1) has to be done in front of us.... FH won't leave his ring anywhere
2) has to be done this coming week!!!!
3) Queens, Brooklyn or Nassau preferably (or even near FH's job in Hackensack, NJ)

I resized a ring many years ago, and I remember it took a week and I had to leave it there. FH is adamant about not leaving his ring. Do jewelers resize rings right there in front of you? I have no idea.

FH is going to wear his grandfather's wedding ring. This was a last-minute decision, plus he's away on business this weekend, so we must get this done sometime in the coming week. We only have Mon, Tues, Wed, and possibly Friday, since Thursday night after work he has to pick up the tuxes. Of course, leave it up to guys to do things at the last minute!!

I told FH I'd ask for recommendations here, since I have no clue where to begin looking.

go to tri county many of those jewelers have repairs on premises.

I went to Solomon Bros. in Plainview got two balls put in and they let me go in the back and watch them do it. I think you need to call first and make appointment so they know you are coming.

We went to Tri-County this afternoon, to the Golden Taj jewelry booth on the 2nd floor and FH was able to go to the back room to watch them resize his ring! They did a beautiful job!
