Jeweler recommendations? I may need something custom made
Happy New Year, everyone!!I may need a pair of earrings custom made, and was hoping someone had a jeweler recommendation.
Long story short-a friend of my mom's lent me jewelry to wear to a holiday party, and I can't find a pair of the earrings! I left them at my brother's house (got dressed there that night), and now they are gone.
I figured I'd apologize profusely, and then give her a pair of earrings that come close to looking like the ones I lost.
I feel so terribly...I'm a much more responsible person than this would lead you to believe. I'd appreciate any recommends.
Thanks ladies!!

ss2002 -- UGH! Thats no fun at all. I do not suggest buying custom made earrings without talking to her first. You never know, she may have been sick of them and itching to get a different pair. I think you have the right idea by intending to replace them, but I think it would be best to talk to her before spending 3x as much to get something custom made. This reminds me of a story I read in high school... Re: Jeweler recommendations? I may need something custom made
Valenia, thanks for that link! I read the story in HS, and remember it well.If I tell her I lost the earrings and will replace them, I know that she will refuse the offer...that's why I want to buy them first.
I know this lady has very nice taste in jewlery, worked in a jewlery store for years. Sigh.
I am relieved that it's the pearl earrings that are MIA, and not the diamond ones I ended up wearing.
So...any jeweler recommends? Anyone???
