Jewelery Appraisal

Can anyone tell me the usual cost of getting your ring appraised? I am thinking of using the jewelery judge...but i'm not sure of the cost...

i was wondering that too. My ring was made with a diamond that belonged to my grandfather.. and we just bought the setting..so i still have to have it appraised. If i go this week i'll let you know what they tell me

when you call the jewlery judge.. the secretary will give you a ball park of what it will cost.. it depends on the size of the diamond.. he is amazingg by the way.. i believe he starts at 90.. and it goes up from there..

he is GREAT!!! I got all 3 of my rings (2 diamond bands and my ering) appraised and it was $2--. I don't remember exactly how much. He was worth every penny!

I went to him last month and loved the experience! He is a really great and knowledgable guy and was right on with specs! He charges you based on the appraisal price of the ring. I'd defintely go to him if it's convinient...some insurance companies won't take smaller jeweler's appraisals.
