Jewelry?

I noticed a lot of you have chosen your day of Jewelry. I'm having a hard time deciding what to wear because i don't have my dress with me. Did you girls go by the pictures of your dress??? Same for headpieces and shoes???

I brought pictures when I went to Thomas Knoell and he basically chose for me. Pictures would definitely help.

I am having the same problem. Luckily my dress came in yesterday and I can now get a few ideas. Kohls has alot of nice stuff I figured I would by at stores like that this way i can return if they don't go

My dress and veil are still in the store, I haven't gone for my first try on yet because what's the point at this time, but I have my shoes and stuff at home, and headpiece, so I just tried to match color scheme and stones and ordered a necklace and earrings online.

Stupid on my part though, because I think I should have passed on the earrings and it will be too much.

I didn't have pics but I knew what I wanted...I am keeping things pretty simple in this department...just diamond studs (which I already have and wear everyday) and I got a thick cuff, that is it.

Oh and shoes I splurged....they are my something blue and I went for blue Manolos!!!!

My manager loooves jewlery, and when I showed her the top of my dress she got all excited and said that she is giving me her diamonds as my borrowed... Sure enough they are beautiful and look amazing!!! LOVE THEM! I have to get better pics! Ones of me wearing them lol

Re: Jewelry?

I bought my veil and tiara at the bridal shop where I bought my gown...the sales girl actually picked them out and I loved how they looked with the dress. For my jewelry I went to Thomas Knoell with pictures. We looked at a few pieces and he helped my choose. I still do not have shoes but I have a lot of time before I need to start worring.

I went to Thomas Knoell. I did not bring pictures, but he knew my dress and was able to pick the perfect pieces.

TRI COUNTY is the flea market in Levittown. It is on Hempstead Turnpike. I actually saw these earrings on another LIWers page. I printed the pic and then went to a few of the vendors until I found them. I think I paid $30!
