Does anyone have a jewelry cleaning machine? Like the one that Sharper Image has with the pulsating water? Are they any good? My ring gets filthy so quickly ![]()
I'd let to get something that I could drop my ring in every morning while I get ready so its always sparkly - it is annoying cleaning it by hand all the time.....
any suggestions?

When FH asked what I wanted for my birthday - i told him this thing to make my ring sparkle...he knows i like things that glitter - so we put it on the registry & bought it!

I have heard that some pave stones will loosen with the ultrasonic machines, so just be wary if you're going to purchase an ultrasonic one.
Check the RTs, there have been numerous discussions on the boards about these machines.
Sidenote - the Salton machine looks diesel. I want one too now!!![]()

Ultrasonic Cleaner
I bought that one too & wasn't happy with it. I didn't like the way it cleaned - i truly couldn't see a difference before & after i used it.

That steamer is REALLY cool!!!! But you'd still have to clean the ring before you steam!

how strong does the steam blow out?
and you only use distilled water right? no ammonia or jewelry cleaner?

That's the word I couldn't think of!!!! Distilled water.
It works this way (the salton).
You put your water in the back part - for the steam. You put water & a cleaning solution (that they give you) in the top part. You press the button & it cleans it in the solution. The solution gets bubbly and the water is being heated.
You then take it out of the solution and put it in one of the 2 things they give you to use and press steam & the steam gets the solution off of it and cleans it.

sounds cool - much better than other cleaners I was looking at.....I think FH is going to get it for me!

That sounds awesome i want one now. im forver sticking my ring in the little thing of cleaner they give you and scrubbing it with the brush this is much better....
