so my dress is a halter - i'm not going to wear a necklace b/c i think it would be too much but i do want to wear earings and a bracelet. do you think diamond studs would be better then something that hangs or maybe a very small hanging earing? i was thinking just a diamond tennis bracelet would be perfect.

I agree a necklace would be too much. Diamond studs and a tennis bracelet sounds perfect.

Re: jewelry question
how are you doing your hair?? are you going to really be able to see the earings?? i mean, would studs get lost if you are going to have hair covering your ears maybe you should have something dangle a lil. but the braclet sounds like a great idea.

i want to wear my hair up, but my make-up artist told me i should wear it down. if it's up studs would be perfect i think

Re: jewelry question
i agree if it is up the studs will look great. but why does the make up artist think it should be down?? i dunno about you but with the halter and your hair dow i`m thinking the detail of the halter will be hidden. will your hair be long for the wedding day?

yes i have long hair but not terribly long, i would prefer to wear it up b/c it's july and i'll be hot and it will annoy me - she says i should wear it up b/c i suffer from fatness and she says that if it's down everything will flow better but my hairdresser never mentioned anything like that
ETA: She didn't say the word 'fatness' i added that, she said 'since you're a bigger girl' which is the truth lol

Re: jewelry question
it will be nice to have it up, out of the way, and you can show off the halter... either studs or small dangly earrings... tennis bracelet is prefect.

Re: jewelry question
suffering from fatness = best phrase ever.
Seems like you have a good idea of what you want and I think shorter dangly ones would go really well. If you cant find a pair you like, studs would work equally well.

Re: jewelry question
I am always for simple jewelery. A stud or a small drop earring.
You can never go wrong with a tennis bracelet!
