Jewerly appraisal

Can anyone reccomend a place in either brooklyn or nyc to get my ring and his appraised?

You should have been able to get appraisal certificates at the place the jewelry was purchased. Thats wear i got ours appraised...

same here. When FH bought the ring they gave him the appraisal certificate that day.

Macys in Herald Square. I wanted to get an outside opinion to make sure i got what FH paid for. They were so nice and helpful. I can remember the ladies name but there is only 1 lady that does it.

I really don't think it should be a problem. I mean, the ring was purchased there so I don't see why they wouldn't just appraise it for you. Maybe have FH go back there with all his receipts and ask them for an appraisal

same here. i needed an outside opinion so i went to an independent appraiser in the city. i used Robert Bunda and he gave me a detailed report regarding my ring. he's on 5th ave bet 48th & 49th st. FM for more info
