Did anybody here convert in order to get married? I'd love to know what the real process is like. I'm converting more for tradition than religion, but either way, it's important.

i converted, not to get married, but for personal and spiritual reasons.
i converted thru the hillel institute, their offices are in commack. it took me 1 year to do it b/c i was working full time and going to grad school. but the course is only 6 months. we had alot of rabbis give lecture and we had hebrew school too. i found it to be a great experience. the bet din was not as intimidating as i thought. they asked me alot of questions, but none that i could not answer. the mikvah was an experience! if you have any questions, please feel free to fm me.
