For us, the whole Ketubah signing and civil license signing maybe took about 20 minutes. In an Orthodox wedding the whole thing is a lot longer, b/c they have a groom's tish and a bedeken..that is about 45 min-an hour.

Our ceremony begins at 6:30pm and we plan to start the Ketubah signing at 6pm. According to my Rabbi, it can be very quick or a bit longer (parents sometimes like to take this opportunity to say a little something to the bride and groom). We anticipate ours lasting about 15-20 minutes, which will give me a few minutes to collect myself before that big walk down the aisle.

You may want to ask your Rabbi this question, as I am sure he/she will be able to give you some guidance on what to expect.

How is everything going with your FH's conversion? Have you been able to settle on a date for the actual mikva/ceremony yet? I know when we last 'spoke' in November you were trying to set up a time....I hope all is going well!!
