Jewish Brides

I just found out about the Friday Night restrictions w/ Rabbi's (FH is Jewish, I'm not but I'm converting)

Are there any regulations for A Sunday ceremony say 3:00?

With they perform ceremony's at the reception venue?

Thanks

No restrictions; Shabbat ends on Saturday at sundown. I think you'll find that most rabbi's would marry you at your reception location.

Sunday's are good. I think a good majority of Jewish weddings take place on a Sunday (we did!) In the winter it's easier to have a Saturday night wedding because the Sabbath ends earlier due to early sundown times.

FYI: It may be hard to get a 3 pm reception because that is considered twilight and basically you are booking the entire day at the place so they cannot have 2 events there that day. They may charge you more for a Sunday 3 pm than a Sunday morning or Sunday afternoon wedding.
I had a twilight wedding, but it cost just as much as a Saturday night since it takes up both times. So if cost is an issue you might want to take that into consideration. Good luck.

Thanks, we're actually shutting the whole place down!! It's a restaurant, & the price doesn't change by day or time... Since I work here I knew it would be easier to close the place to the public on a Sunday than a Saturday..
