Jewish brides - another question!

Jewish brides - another question!

Is it true that in jewish weddings the 2nd dance and last dances are Hora's?

Also, do I need to do anything to customize the ceremony, or can I use a generic jewish one offered by my rabbi?

We did just one hora as the second dance, which is typical. I've been to about five jewish weddings in the past few years (including two at temples), all of which did the hora only once.

There is no religious reason why your ceremony needs to be customized. Thats a personal decision.

I also did only 1 hora. I think there's something called the mezinka, which is usually played at the end. It's usually in honor of the parents and only played at weddings when the last unmarried child gets wed.
