My FH is Jewish but we are getting married in a catholic church he wanted to incorporate the breaking of the glass into a little thing that we are going to do at the hall. My problem is what is the glass called and where do I find the glass and the keepsake bag for it?

Re: Jewish Brides I need your help
it's not called anything. it's just a glass. a lot of people use a light bulb wrapped in a cloth napkin because lightbulbs are easy to break.

You can probably find it online or they will def have it at any Judaica store... I didn't get ours yet but I heard this is the way to go b/c they use a specific kind of glass that is easy to break and won't go through the groom's shoe! And it comes with a glass-breaking pouch/keepsake -I want one of those too!! hehe

It;s not called anything, though you can google wedding break glass. Here is one from Eichler's Break glass
They also have ones that can be reconstructed into a keepsake or as others mentioned put into a mezuzah. This is not necessary. Most people use a lightbulb wrapped in a pouch. The lightbulb is easier to break and makes a relaly nice popping sound.
FH is Jewish and we are getting married in church.
What other elements are you including?
We're doing it all interfaith, so we're going to have the shva brachot, we're not going to have a chuppah, but we will be wrapped in FH's dad's tallis for part of the ceremony (this can be used instead), and we will drink from the kiddush cup, etc.
Will you be ordering yarmulkes and benchers? Are you doing a Ketubah>
We're doing all of the above.
I have literally spent a decade researching interfaith weddings, so let me know if you have any questions
