Jewish Check!

My grandmother just found her and my grandfather's plain gold bands! She is sending them with my mom in a few weeks!

Now I need to work on my other rings!

I'm not jewish (well not raised jewish), but I'm using my grandmothers wedding ring too!!!!

For the ceremony only. Its tradition (or so I am told by my Jewish FH) that the wedding band be completely solid-with no etching or 'holes'-so no stones.

Unfortunately for FH, simple is not my style- so I will be using the band for the ceremony, and then afterwards have a quiet moment for FH and I to exchange our 'true' rings

that's wonderful! i used my mom's band for our ceremony (it was my 'something borrowed'), and one of my favorite pictures is this one my BIL took of my DH putting the ring on my finger.

I have 2 wedding bands, an eternity band that belonged to my grandmother and a plain band (it has etching but nto stones) as an everyday ring.. DH put both on my during the ceremony. I actually ended up wearing both all day!

Dh is jewish he has a simple white and yellow gold band he wore during the ceremony on his right hand and but I placed his diamond band on the left

maybe we will do that instead- put both rings on at the ceremony (didn't even think of that)
