I was in a Judaica store last week and I saw a really great cake topper- it was a jewish couple under a chuppa- only reason why I didn't buy it was because it was so expensive.
I was wondering if anyone can help me find something like it - I'd love to surprise FH with it because we both liked it so much!

From what I saw, you'd have to have something custom made for you. Ifound a site that had a few custom ones. The least expensive was $170 and it went up from there. Most of them were over $200. A little too pricy for me but figured i'd at least mention.
ohhh, that last one is gorgeous!!! unfortunately FH isn't jewish (he's not religious, but wouldn't go for the yarmulke topper) so that's out.... how much is it out of curiousity?

The top one is the custom made one from the website...its approx $170.
The bottom one is the traditional jewish cake topper. I've seen the price vary online but I saw it on ebay for under $30 with shipping.

I think I found something that might work and it's only $25.00 ... idk if it might be too heavy but I can go and buy a base for it and kinda make a cake topper out of it. It's a hinged porcelin box- I might just order it to see how heavy it is and then decide.

FH actually found it- I gotta ask him where he found it.. I seriously think I am going to order it- then go to a craft store and make a base for it and use it as a cake topper. Imo if it works, it works.

Yes but I just found out that FH isn't liking it anymore- I think I might sneak behind his back and make it into a cake topper though.. can't hurt- if worse comes to worse I'll have a new ring box or something for my e-ring and wedding ring.
