Jewish girls....I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!

Every year I always about what food we can't and can eat. Can we eat mushrooms?

yup, you can! you can definitely use fresh mushrooms, and depending how strict you are about passover, you can used canned mushrooms that are marked for passover. If you don't care about things being marked, then it's all good

no beer..it has yeast. i dont pay attn to the kosher for passover marking but as long as there is no yeast in it, its a-ok.

there's very little alcohol to drink on pesach. My b-day is on the 30th, so I'm buying a lot of passover wine and having friends over to drink

drunk on manishcewitz..however it is spelled...takes me back to my high school days! we even 'borrowed' wine from hillel in college so we could get wasted on a friday night, lol.

there are a lot of really great kosher for passover wines out there - like real wines, not like the overly sweet manishevitz (although I actually like manishevitz!)

I know. We have a liquor shop right near us that has a HUGE selection of Kosher wines. I actually rarely buy traditional old manishevitz concord grape. You can get pretty much every type of wine kosher. I like riesling and chardonnay. We keep trying all different brands.

I bought Baron Herzog Merlot and Zinfandel. Maneschewitz is like grape juice.

I think they actually started the 4 cups of wine thing because you need to be dunk to deal with your family for that many hours
