Jewish Holiday and My Birthday

FILs are making Rosh Hashanah on the 1st of October. The day after my BIG 3-0 and the day I was planning my get together with friends.

FH aunt text me 'what day is NOT good for you?'

I reply 'Friday' hoping she wouldn't even say Saturday because people work and its a given NO (well I thought) then she text me ' what about Saturday?' I say ' NOT really but if it has to be, i guess so'
