I'd like to include information, regarding the religious aspects of our ceremony, in our programs, so that both of our families (friends, too) will understand the meaning behind everything. Can anyone help?

Re: Jewish/Catholic Weddings...
What traditions are you doing? I'm having a Jewish-Catholic interfaith ceremony as well. We're doing readings, unity candle (Catholic) and blessing over wine, breaking of glass (Jewish). Let me know if you want the info for those.

Re: Jewish/Catholic Weddings...
I would ask a rabbi for anything you may need. My brother and his wife were married by a Reform Rabbi and an Episcopalian minister. They were not married in the Catholic church out of respect to my parents. I also think it was because my brother's did not annul his first marriage that produced children.
Anyway.... they did the 'Jewish' parts UNDER the chuppah and the 'non-Jewish' parts in front of the chuppah. They also did a unity candle and blessing over the wine.
