Jillians and surrounding area, need help

Hello ladies!

I am pretty new to LI and all my BM are from OOT. I wanted to go to Jillians (in Westbury, I believe) for my bachelorette party. I had one of these back home and I love the place because it has so many different thngs to do in one building. And since it'll be winter, I don't want to go bar hopping to a dozen bars.

I am wondering if there is also a bar in that area that does karaoke or just a nice place to hang out. I do not like bars that are packed with people. I don't care if it's a 'townie bar', but I just don't want to go to a bar that we fear for our lives, if you know what I mean. Hip and trendy does not matter. I'm hitting Jillians for that and am looking for another place to go near there.

We do not plan on getting a limo, but have no problem getting cabs from Jillians to another bar and then to the hotel. Just looking for suggestions in the area around Jillians. TIA!

Now I hear there is more than one Jillians! Please help me with either one.

Not to far from Jillians( soon2be Dave & Busters) is Mirage. A club but very big and that might be an option.
You could also try Victory and Waterzooie in Garden City and those are both lounges.

i was going to mention mirage also but i didnt' think you wanted the club scene.

Jillians is becoming Dave and Busters?!?!? Are they keeping the bowling alley and dance club? This could change everything! I have have had nothing but bad luck with the Dave and Busters out here.

And, you're right, I'm not looking for a club scene.

oh really i like dave and buster better than jillians, i think the food is much better. are you from the westbury area?

No, I'm living in Centereach. The food is not what I'm actually concerned about because my bridal shower is earlier that day. (This is how we all do our weddings now that we all live in other states)

I was thinking about Jillians because they have the arcade and stuff like D & B, but also have a dance club and bowling alley. This way we can do a bunch of things in one building.

the one in westbury doesnt have the dance club one though, only the one in farmingdale does.

Ahh. I only saw one in Westbury on their website. I'm so confused. I was going to check it out before making solid plans.

Okay, so, does anyone have advice on Farmingdale then? Why is this so difficult? I guess I need to get out more.

If you're going to be in Westbury you could even go to the club in the Garden City Hotel. I'm sure there are a lot of fun places to go in that area!

If you go to the Jillians in Farmingdale, there is a bar nearby called the Crazy Donkey. The music tends to get very loud, but you can dance and its pretty fun.

If you want something more quiet, there is a great bar in Farmindale called The Library. It is not too far from Jillians.

Gillians in Farmingdale is now David and Busters I was there this weekend.
The Gillians in the Source Mall in Westbury doesn't have a great scene but across the street is a place called Duan Juan's. It's on Old Country Road. Its a mexican restaurant but a bar at night. I would check out the scene first, but I've been there and its a lot of fun.

I know it has a bowling alley, becasue I just bowled a 41 last weekend
But i didn't see the dance club but I'm not necessarily sure that it's not there

when it was jillians, there was a dance club. I haven't been in a few years so i don't know if they got rid of it with the change to dave and busters.
