I just read that as well. He evidently has a drinking problem. It is sad cause his brother had a problem as well and died of an overdose.

they said that alcohol is his problem

I adore Joaquin, he's a wonderful actor. I hope he gets the help that he needs & doesn't follow in the footsteps of his brother, who was also one of my favorite actors.
