where do all of you work? and if you dont mind how much do you make about? i am looking for a career change could really use more $$$$$$

i'm a teaching assistant at a private non-profit special ed school in austin right now, so i don't make a lot at ALL (about 15000 after taxes, not including the 183/month i have to pay for my half of the health insurance). i just got into the nyc teaching fellows though so come september i'll be working in the nyc public schools. their starting salary (w/o a masters) is 42,512 i believe.
