As you all know my Real Estate office closed in March and my broker decided to put me 1/2 in his office and 1/2 in the Mortgage office. Well there was mix up with a file yesterday and me and another girl here do not understand what happened. My manager called my broker at home and he asked if both girl should be fired and she said no. So now the other girl has my job and I am back over at the Real Estate but I do not even know if I will be full time! My wedding is in 28 days! I'm stressing that I won't be able to pay for things!! I am mad cause my manager kept telling me I was doing a good job and then all along she knew I wasn't? I never was really 'trained' I was shown how to do things..and even after that I thought I was doing good..I never caught on 100% and get this she uses my wedding as an excuse to my broker why I wasn't getting it. My wedding has nothing to do with my job! If he does put me down to part time I will be so pissed! The only bright side to that is I will be able to go on interviews! FH can't believe it and he told me everything will work out..I have 58 mins before I go next store and find out what hours are! I want to sit in with him and tell him my side of the story. Do you think that is wise? Or just let things be? I think I need to say my part to have closure. I knew I wasn't totally getting it and I was giving it more time before I went to my broker and told him I wasn't catching on! But to use my wedding as an excuse? Has nothing to do with it at all!!!!!!!!
Who knows whose hiring!!! I'm so depressed now..and worried I may be part time!!!!! Please help ladies!!!

you need to stick up for yourself...if you boss is fair then he/she will hear both sides of the story. the worst thing you can do is get emotional, straight up facts are the best. don't let people take advantage of you! trust me, i deal with these kind of issues everyday! (HR mgr)

have you ever gotten in trouble before? if not then make sure that is known, and make sure they know that your manager is always encouraging your good work. it's not your fault that you weren't given the proper training!

Never...even at the Real Estate office that closed down..never...She must of told him that she thought that I would catch on but I didn't..for starters I was never shown everything in processing!!! She decided I wasn't going to do processing that I was just gonna open and close the files..and don't tell me I am doing a good job when I am not..That is called two-faced!!!!

I don't undertand how the woman can say your wedding is the reason. You will find that everyone won't be happy that you are getting amrried. I would stand up for myself with the broker and tell him that you feel you haven't been properly trained but you really like working there. Just don't say you need to be full time for your wedding. Honestly, you need to stick up for yourself. Even if nothing comes of it, atleast you know that your boss knows both sides of the story. Because if you don't pipe up and say anything, he's going to assume what this other woman is saying is the truth.

I waited after 5 to talk to him and I told him my side of the story. I explained to him that I was never fully trained and I was thrown into it. I told him I thought about coming to him a few weeks ago and telling him it just wasnt' working out but then I had a good day and I thought I was finally getting it..She never once told me that I was doing a bad..everything was you are doing fine...you are doing fine..So now my boss wants to talk to her again on Monday..but the wounds are already there..I wouldn't go back there if she crawled on her hands and knees and begged me. I have been reduced to part time now ( total of 16-20 hours) my wedding is almost 3 weeks away and I can't believe this has happened! My mom has offered for me to come to her office and help out part time. It probably will be $10 an h but at least it's something, right? I just want to find a full time job..but who is gonna hire me when my wedding is in another 3 weeks and I would need 2 weeks off...so aggravating...so upset about this. My broker wishes he can give me full time but there is no work here for me and I am here as a back up answering the phones for his assistant!!!!

I had a closed meeting here with one of the girls I work with..she is just besides herself...she not of been handled this way at all. I told her that the relationship I had with my manager is out the window..we are strictly hi and bye I want nothing to do with her..there are some things you can't take back that leave wounds..and this has changed...forever! the 3 other girls are still invitied to the wedding..I am not about to dump on them!!! There is a sweet lady who has no idea yet..everyone wants to leave now!!
