Job interview today - also purchased more wedding items!! UPDATE
Well today during my class break i have a job interview that i wasn't too scared with until now. The guy came up to me after a mock interview at school and asked to have an official interview with me if i was interested. I of course said yes.... so today is the day and i am doing my research on company and realized they have won six awards in marketing and design. So now i am scared!!!! My portfolio is ugh i never like my work.
So last week i had ordered my bags, tissue paper and rb and fg personalized glasses from Oriental Trading company. Well the bags are fine, glasses are fine but the paper which i had specified green is TEAL!! So those had to go back. It was way to blue green for me to use on the favors. I went on ebay and they had tons of sheets for sale (600) sheets of 24 x 36 in a nice olive green that i purchased. Deff. sugest ebay just make sure its your correct color.
I got my dress swatch on saturday and check that my measurement appointment was for a few more weeks and the swatch matched my shoes - I WAS SOO HAPPY!
I got my slip which needs to be taken in , the bra and the shoes this way i have it if i need it for the measurements.
Yea!
Back from the interview:
I got the job but it doesn't start till June and its only part time to start. I am not happy about that aspect and fh seemed not too happy. I explained my boss is going to teach me more aspects of design then my currnet job since i am lacking in confidence within my designs and using quick keys. We are waiting for a salary approval so we will see, no benefits. So it looks like i am working two part time jobs for a while and then see what happens. They said they may hire me full time in a few months and honestly that is all that has been offered to me before with jobs and i never took them. SO i will be working for Farmingdale State College (wanted to tell you who i got hired from) in their advertising and marketing department for the school.
Back to class!
