I know that I complain about my job from time to time, but there is one plus to my job. From time to time we have sample sales of our products, today we had one and I am soo excited because I got this buffet set that I have been eyeing for over a year, but didn't want to pay the regular price for it which is $90. But today I got it for $20, I'm sooo happy

Lets see...my perks as a teacher are not all that much. I get time off (like the summer and breaks during the year), and there are discounts at some stores like, Apple, Barnes and Noble and Ann Taylor...but other then that I dont get anything!
I know everyone is saying- They dont work 2 months out of the year- but Im not saying that I dont like that ( I usually work) but I miss the freedom of being able to go on vacation whenever I want...you cant do that as a teacher and the breaks during the year are super expensive because everyone travels with their kids!

Hmm well I guess a perk would be we get summer flex hours on Fridays.. which basically means that every other Friday i get to leave at 12:30 rather than 5:30 (but, i have to make up those extra hours during the week).
Also once a month we have a free company lunch... which i unfortunately have to handle & order since I am in HR.... but people complain about the food thats ordered, and make 'special requests', its so silly! Its like, hey- you're getting the food for free, who cares if its pizza or chicken wings? sheesh.

we are trying for the work 10 hours for 4 days and have 3 days off...we all want that so bad here!!!

i work for home depot...unless you call getting verbally abused by every other customer a perk...we don't get anything...not even an employee discount

we get a lot of discounts from accounts we have a relationship with, and I work a 4 day work week. (10 hour days) Which I think is an awesome perk since it gives me freedom to get wedding related stuff done during the weekdays I have off.

hmmm, lets see. free lab work, lol, my bday off, random bonuses and overtime whenever i want it, which is why i worked 12 hours today i'm hoping to get supervisor very soon, since my review is coming any day now, so hopefully the perks will follow

hahaha, i dont know. right after work i went out with one of my MOHs i got home at 11, took a shower and now i'm eating dinner, which is a turkey sandwich. plus i've been sleeping like crap, so i've been waking up at 5 every morning and just tossing and turning till 7:30. But the only plus, i've had work two days this week and already have almost 5 hours of overtime

I work for the utility company as a financial analyst. I used to work for the Islanders and that was a blast and had some nice job perks!
