Job Venting
So I have been working at this law firm as a paralegal (and since they knew i was graduating in Dec and i only starting working here this summer) we always all assumed i would come back as an attorney. they always said we would discuss salary when i come back in March (after 2 months off for the Bar). Long story short I come in and they make this big deal today (my last day till March) for us to meet and discuss everything. I assumed it was to offer me an official salary (earlier than expected) but in fact it was to tell me that they dont know if they will be able to offer me anything in March (depends on business). and if they have an opening i will be it, but i can come back and work p/t as a paralegal again. Hello do they know i have a wedding to pay for? ok just venting- wish the economy was better. and i more or less knew they were going to do this but i got excited when they planned the meeting- just to get my hopes up :( so the search for a job will begin come march.
