So we are doing the floors this weekend, and even though everythings going back in place, Im taking 'before' pics of everything just to see the difference later (the floors will be MUCH lighter, natural color)... and I guess just to have pics of my baby's (not toddler)'s room
I owed Shamma these pictures for a while. back from a few Nursery theme threads.
I never went with a theme because I think there are SOO MANY cute things to enlighten the life of a child, so I could never decide! There's bits and pieces of everything thrown in there... His bedding is Carter's Baby Bugs. I LOVED the ELmo rug, and now that he's on a first name basis with 'MEHMO', he adores his rug too His ceiling is just a tad lighter than the walls. The wagon, horsie and tricycle were all gifts from my shower from grandma and a close friend. I thought theyd be cute in his room. Im sure once the toddler bed enters , it may get too crowded, and maybe we'll find a spot for em once we redo his playroom. The painting is not yet hung because of the 'under construction' mode we've been in. It was painted for his 1st Bday by a special cousin. I can post a better pic of it. It's Mickey and the gang holding up our beautiful flag. I thought it was very touching and well done. His ceiling fan, maybe to give mommies of boys some ideas! Its the cutest thing! He loves that too.

That little stuffed doggie has a history with me. I bought him at FAO Schwarz many years ago (8yrs?) when I was working there. His name is 'Patrick the Pup' He was a trademark stuffed animal of FAO. I thought he was adorable His bat (with name) was a gift from my SIL. The box was a party favor at his cousins 1st Bday last year. I LOVE personalized stuff Pinocchio is my ALL TIME favorite character, period. I just totally adore him. I have one for my car too and there on the wagon is his gang of friends.....
Soon enough this wont be a 'baby room' anymore (poor thing will be pushed right out of the crib ). Im trying to enjoy everything baby about it One of my cousins said 'you have SO MANY years to decorate it with sports and 'boy stuff'. Now that he's a newborn, do baby themes.. so that stuck with me.. I found it to be so true... but I thought the ceiling fan was a cute little boy thing to just throw in....

I wish Gianna had a 'real' room to decorate! I did make sure to decorate her half of the room so there's a big difference between the 'baby' room and the 'adult' room. I'll take pix and scan them when I get to my MIL's.

Heather, we bought it online. Home Depot had it a while back,and when we were looking, they didnt have Its made by Hunter. Its just under $100
You can also do a search for 'hunter baseball ceiling fan' to shop around. Several sites sell it.

The walls are much darker in person. The color of the closet door -thats closer to what the walls look like, and the door is a hint darker than the walls. They came out so much lighter on here.
