John Anthony's view

My fiancee and I REALLY love John ANthony's view of the water....BUT question the visibility of it at night. Has anyone been there at night? Were you able to see the water at all (especially from the upstairs room)?

My family was at a wedding there this past DEC and they said It was a stunning view and the place was breath taking!

Was the wedding at night though?

Our reception was at night in the upstairs room .. and obviously you will not have the same view at night as you do during the day .. but the view is very pretty at night, and yes, you can see the water out there. We even have shots on the video that were taken close to the window .. and you can see the movement of the water .. it's pretty cool!

Our plan was to have the cocktail hour at dusk, and have the guests upstairs by the time darkness was starting to set in ... unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate .. but we still got lots of compliments on how pretty the views were.

If anything, in my opininon, I think the upstairs room might provide for a better view, since it is up higher.

I agree with Kel. Our cocktail hour will be downstairs in the lounge. If the weather is good the view will be amazing (its in Aug so still daylight). The reception in upstairs and I liked the view better from up there b/c you get the whole view of the water. I noticed downstairs you can also see the parking lot (pier) rather than just water. Both views are spectacular no matter which room you choose.

I went to a bridal show there at night and the view was still beautiful. You can see the lights from the bridge from afar and you can see the water.
