We're in the early stages of planning and I have a bunch of Q's re: JA's and The Harbor Club.
First off, can anyone show me pics or give me a website for the Harbor Club (have not found anything) :( Is the price comparable to JA's?

If you book the bottom room, your cocktail hour is upstairs in the large room?
How much extra are the chair covers? How much? Is there a choice of colors?
Besides the deck, where did you take your pictures outside?
Anyone have pics of the downstairs cocktail room?
Any pro's cons to either room? Your preference?
All dinner entrees are combinations?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

I only know the answer to the cocktail room question...if you are in the upstairs room, you will have your cocktail hour downstairs. I didn't notice a second cocktail room upstairs though, now that I think about it.... I am in the upstairs room, so I didn't even think to ask when I went to see it.
They do not habe a lot of pictures on the website because they have recently re-done the room.
Maureen (BM) is amazing..... they are very flexible with brides & grooms and like to have fun with weddings. I have asked her if we could do some unorthodox things & every time she says,'Sure, that'll be great!'
Their food is to DIE FOR! FH & I had a food tasting & he was like.... man If I wasn't marrying you I'd hook up with the chef!
The room is nice & is enclosed in skylights. The view of the harbor is great & even though they are next to Coco's you cannot see the club, nor can they see you.
As for John Anthony's... they are just a nice, but we liked the view from the rooms at Harbor Club better. The rooms are bigger & the decor is a little different. JA's ia blue, white, black & gold, while the Harbor Club is deep burgundy, gold & Ivory, with Black blue & smoky mirror in the lobby.
For the Menus: Combinations are an option for entree's and for salads as well.
The cocktail room is upstairs.
They do not leave a tip cup out for the barstaff, so as not to intrude upon your guests
Besides the deck we will take pics in the glass elevator & on the dock. There is a terrace oneach level & Hecksher park is right up the road.
I don't know about the chair covers, because the chairs in Harbor club match the room. They do have a choice of colors for the napkins though. The table cloths are damask & are Ivory at the Harbor club (I think they are white or Ivory Sateen Stripe at JA's)
OK.. I think that is it.... Oh yeah the price is comparable for both.
