As much as I don't want to, I do. I wish I had proof that people like him were for real....what an amazing gift that would be, to be able to contact spirits on the other side....

Re: John Edwards
I heard that is not his real name, and he lives in melville. Fh's father knows him. That does not mean he is not psychic, it just means he uses a stage name. I personally don't believe it, but you never know!

Re: John Edwards
I grew up in the same town as him - - he has always been known as the guy who 'talks to dead people', so if it's a hoax, he's been doing it since he was a kid.

Re: John Edwards
He used to work in the hospital my cousin works in... a little over a year ago he went back to the hospital to have some type of out-patient operation. My cousin was his attending nurse and he looked at her and said Hi P.. what's up? by the way, who is Rose? My cousin was like, huh? He said, I have Rose here and she wants you to tell her to thank Madeline for taking care of her and that she is sitting with Anthony & Rocky.. well that just about floored her because that was my newly deceased Great Grandma talking and Anthony (her husband) and Rocky (old German Shephard)....
I think I believe him.

Re: John Edwards
I didn't really, but my sister dragged me to one of his live shows, and to see him in person, is waaaay more convincing than watching it on tv. I guess I believe in his 'power', well, at least somewhat, but I don't put faith in it. It was pretty heart wrenching, to see all of these people, many who had lost young children, dying to see if someone would come through. He did talk to a lot of people, but I think most people, my sister included (she wanted my dad to come through), left disappointed because they were sure they would get to connect with a loved one. That's why I don't really put much faith (for lack of a better word), into it.

Re: John Edwards
Would love to do wine on Friday but we have to go to Florida for brother-in-law's ghetto-fantastic hoe-down of a wedding... so annoying. DH is ready to give him every extra dime we have as a gift- meanwhile all we got from him & wife-to-be was a 8 x 10 frame from JC PENNY HOME! And- it is butt ugly- so what the heck am I supposed to do with it I don't know.
We are going to have a 32 bday party for John at the house on May 18th so you and L have to come....

Re: John Edwards
He used to work at St. Francis as a lab techinician for a number of years. My friend's mother is head of pathology there and knew him - he used to do readings sometimes I hear for office people. I thought that was his real name - but I will have to ask my friend

Re: John Edwards
Everyone says we should give them the frame with a picture of us in it from the wedding (LOL). Please- John wants to give them the fondue pot I bought w/ cook book for them, $150 and a honeymoon kit- ppppuuulleaasee! He wants to say that they 'just don't know' but that is bulllllloney. Let me tell you. They are just selfish. But what-ev I'll just be the better person (doesn't mean I can't grumble to my friends though).
Will be great if you came- we were just gonna have a bbq, some beers, etc & chill.
