I will tell you ladies something. A young man that was a very good friend to JazzyT passed away yesterday. His mother was wakign him up to go to the gym and saw him blue with his cell phone to his face (he was talking to his GF that lives in florida to about 1 am). No one knows why he passed or the reason. He was going to be 25 this month.

The reason for this post is at the end of the day if you are really not good friends with people on this board you have to let things go. No one opinion should even matter since it is only a screen name that you know. If you see a post that you know if you respind would not be very nice, keep it moving.

Like my mother says, 'If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say it at all'

There is a way to give your opinion in a tactful manner.

that's terrible. I am very sorry.

I didnt know him and it still hurts. Just shows life is too short!

I look forward too so many people that posts, and I feel like the only drama should be when there is an imposter vendor like last night.

Now that was funny!

I agree totally. Sometimes us brides, and brides to be need to realize that if you just 'ignore' things that your not fond of, it won't get out of hand. 'JUST MOVE ON'. If you don't entertain something it won't last.

PLEASE remember that, when you waste your time going on, and on jumping down someones throat your just as bad as what your'claiming' to prevent . Not to mention taking away from your planning of 'your day'.

it is very easy to get caught up in stuff on here- especially if you are 'friends' with people. I know I am just as guilty as anyone else...but you also kinda get to know people on here too. sometimes we need to put up a 'stop' sign.

Situations like these should be hard to avoid when you have friends involved, b/c we're human, and its common nature. But we also should be able to sit back and say to ourselves, and eachother 'It's not that serious'.
So let's just plan on, and get the 06'ers back on the map as a 'happy board', not a 'drama' board
Oh and thanks for understanding

I think if I am involved in a thread & someone is rude or nasty to me, I reserve the right to fight back. I don't think anybody should take crap from anyone.

I'm jumping on that bandwagon as well...

It's just when there are a handful of those that are constantly starting drama where people just get fed up with it, most especially if it's involving the same people.

We all have a right to defend ourselves...it's the choice of others to get involved...otherwise, those that want to ignore - can! Two mouse clicks is all it takes to put your cursor on the x and click 'exit.'

In theory, and in principal I agree. If someone jumps down my throat my gut reaction would be just that - react. However, for those who are constantly being accused of starting drama, and those that might be inclined to do the jumping back - I ask that you stop and think before you post. Is whatever negative thing you have to say necessary? Is there a way you can get your point across without being offensive? Is it something you can send in a FM so that the negativity doesn't spill over to the boards? And BTW - just because it's FM doesn't mean courtesy rules don't apply.

I bring this up only because I accidently posted something well over a month ago that someone found offensive. In a very polite manner she sent me a FM telling me she found my post offensive. My gut first said 'who the heck does she think she is', but I decided to reread her FM several times before I responded to figure out what it was she was offended over. (after all, the FM was polite - what on earth was I so bothered about??) I still don't truly understand what it was, but the fact that it bothered her (and could therefore potentially bother and offend others) was enough for me. I sent her an apology, removed the offending post, and sent her a thank you for not blasting me on the boards.

Wow SexyEsq very well said.

What I think is funny is that after only being on this board for a couple of months I can tell that
' those who are constantly being accused of starting drama, and those that might be inclined to do the jumping back'

are always the same handfull of people.

Thank you. This is exactly what I meant when I said it's common nature b/c we're still human. But to get all bent out of shape is so uncalled for, not sometimes, but alot of times around here.

Well atleast you were in a similar situation, and got it resolved in a kind matter. Thanks for sharing b/c now we know it can be done

I've said it once before and I'll say it again..sometimes it is like you walked by and accidentally brushed up against one of the girls in that nasty clique in High School and they 'all' feel the need to harass you. I save my less then positive responses for my FH..I post only when I can find something nice to say.
