For various reasons we've decided to do a joing Bachelor/Bachelorette 'Party'. We want to do it in Manhattan because its central to the different people we want to invite and also FH has never been out in Manhattan. We were thinking of doing a few stops but also cant afford to spend tremendous amounts of money!! Any suggestions on places that would give the NY feel but not too crazy expensive?
Also, has anyone done or been to a joint party? What was it like?

Are you looking for like a balls-to-the-wall crazy party, or something that's more like sophisticated New York?
NYC has a LOT of personalities.

What about Karaoke on St. Marks Place? Sing Sing
Of if you head to Yonkers you can go to Empire City (casino).
Also, might be fun to go to a place like the Wax Museum.

Hey girl!! Okay.. so check out http://www.privatepartyroom.com/ FM me for contact details but basically - based on lets say 15 ppl for a complete night out in nyc (excluding entertainment -meaning no strippers or whatnot) for $140 per person (the $ drops depending on the number of people in the party) you get a stretch navigator limo for 6 hours - OPEN bar at 5 different nyc pubs and door access i.e no waiting in line and wristbands for the entire party. Full meal (Dinner) to kick off the evening in a new york restaurant. Ps. They will organize the entire event for you based on your needs which is included. Let me know if you want more into =)

Re: Joint Bachelor/Bachelorette Party
FH an I just went to a joint bachelor/bachelorette party on saturday. we went to Murdered by the Mob (at Arno restaurant on 38th between broadway and 7th). it was a lot of fun. it had audience participation and you can let them know it's a special event. ( they knew my friend was the bride so they called her up and had her pole dancing with a microphone stand). afterwards we went to mustang sally's. it was fun.
